| NESHEP is a group of about 50 contractors of various disciplines who provide services to clients in the North East and who are committed to the promotion and maintenance of excellence in safety, health and environmental (SHE) management and performance. They believe that accidents are preventable and that by developing and sharing best practice we will help to keep our workforces safe and their client sites accident free. This will represent good business for everyone. | |
| The North East CDM Group provides support to its members who are made up of all the classes of CDM duty holder. It gives excellent opportunity for members to become aware of those important issues to do with the planning and management of construction work and with the standards of health and safety which are required on site. Members are encouraged to attend regular seminars covering a wide range of issues which are to do with the construction process. | |
| The Teesside Safety Group was formed in 1989 and the present membership totals over 120 companies covering a radius of 50 miles from Teesside. The membership comprises large and small construction companies, roofing companies, chemical companies, local authorities, colleges of further education, local training companies and suppliers of protective equipment. The objectives of the group are to advance education in all aspects of health and safety at work and to promote safe working environments within industry together with the promotion of interest in accident prevention.
