What We Do
FoCul was founded in 2000 by an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to deliver true value adding systems into the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors.
Our customers have been very pleased with our approach and our solutions. We have been growing steadily year on year.
We deliver both bespoke and shrink wrapped applications that allow organisations to operate more efficiently by reducing cost and/or improving control. The systems that we deliver are pragmatic, robust and because we have industrial experience they are much more likely to suit your needs than software from other traditional IT companies.
We can deliver bespoke systems cost effectively by using our large library of previous work. A few examples are listed below but the case studies section of this web site lists more examples
- Safety Reporting Systems with on-line report approval and action tracking. These systems significantly reduce the cost of administering safety reporting while giving much improved control and significantly increased organisational learning.
- Electronic Operating Procedure Libraries with on-line document approval and confirmation that employees have read the relevant instructions. These systems remove the need for paper copies of procedures and eliminate the administrative cost that goes with that.
- Web based MSDS publication systems allowing customers to access company MSDS sheets directly
The key to our approach is to use a structured process to understand your needs, develop the software and then, most importantly, to test it thoroughly. A significant proportion of our team have Manufacturing experience and will be able to relate to your requirements better than most conventional IT companies. Although the developers may have come from Industrial backgrounds as Engineers or technicians they are all highly certified by IBM or Microsoft.
