TÜV Rheinland Industrial Solutions (TRIS) is a leading engineering consultancy with deep expertise in Process Safety and Management of Change (MOC).
Since 2001, FoCul has been partnering with TÜV, providing Asset Integrity software solutions. We have now strengthened our collaboration by offering a combined MOC solution. This partnership merges TÜV’s renowned consultancy services with FoCul’s proven MOC software, creating the new PEL MOC service.
While we are immensely proud of our MOC platform and the value it brings to our clients, we’ve always been aware of the need for deeper MOC training and consultancy. Our collaboration with TÜV fills this gap, allowing us to offer a more comprehensive, holistic service to our clients.
The PEL MOC offering from TÜV includes not only our advanced software but also a suite of valuable services from TÜV. These range from an initial MOC Gap Analysis to training, MOC process health audits, and key performance metrics. Our customers have welcomed these additions, particularly the option of an external annual health assessment for MOC processes.
One key aspect of this partnership has been TÜV’s close work with our MOC customers to understand how the application is delivering value to their businesses. In FoCul we are so close to these stories that we loose sight of just how good they are. For us it has reinforced the importance of sharing the impact of our work with a wider audience. It also makes me wonder how we have managed without a marketing function for 25 years 🙂
To address this, we have begun documenting more about our work, with MOC being just one of these areas. This case study highlights our MOC work with E.ON Infrastructure Solutions, which began 8 years ago.
While I still cherish my early years as a practicing engineer, it has been 25 years since I transitioned into IT. Over time, our products have evolved from being based on my own experiences to reflecting the needs and best practices of our customers. Today, it is especially rewarding to incorporate insights and best practices from TÜV into our solutions.
